INSPIRATION
Pikliz Royal was founded by two cousins who love traveling and discovering amazing local foods from various cultures. Our fathers are brothers who immigrated from Haiti to North America. Stephan's father settled with his family in Montreal in the 1980’s and worked as a chemical engineer in commercial food production. Don's father moved to New York in the 1960’s and later opened one of the longest running Haitian restaurants in Queens with his business partners. Combining our passion for food and culture with the culinary production expertise of our fathers, we are dedicated to delivering you palate pleasing delicacies that have long been enjoyed by Haitians and other Afro-Caribbean cultures.
MANAGEMENT TEAM
Stephan Roy, Co-Founder
Stephan was born in Haiti and immigrated to Montreal, Canada at the age of 10. With 15+ years’ experience working in corporate accounting and finance management, he is in charge of accounting and business operations for the Pikliz Royal brand. When not crunching numbers or coordinating logistical details with our partners and suppliers, he enjoys traveling, running, soccer, and fun times with friends and family.
Donald Elivert, Co-Founder
Born and raised in the suburbs of NYC, Don is a first-generation Haitian American. With 20+ years of corporate sales management experience he oversees business development and marketing for the Pikliz Royal brand. His hobbies include grilling, basketball, and audio production. When not working to grow the Pikliz Royal community, he splits his time between business consulting and voice-acting.
